mint & dandelion tincture

fresh mint and roots (though harvested in november). roughly chopped and covered in cheap 80 proof vodka. left in sun. shook up every once in a while. (like every other day, maybe less.)

my interested uses: irritable bowel, indigestion. dose: a few droppers full, 1 (but up to 2) teaspoons, something like that.

dandelion harvested from athletic fields and the cape in october, when the taproots fatten and absorb all the energy from no longer leaf-making. lightly cleaned, sliced fresh, covered in cheap 80 proof vodka. left in sun. shook up every once in a while.

my interested uses: digestive bitter. antioxidant/vitamins. liver. *increase* in acid/bile may help with gerd? caution: diuretic/laxative? dose: starting dose 1-2 droppers (5 mL = 1 tsp) 4x, or also seen typical dosage of 1/2 tsp 3-4x.
