Gene therapy, in vivo, uses a virus to put into someone’s body and the virus infects your body’s cells and inserts the right proteins to replicate genes the right way.
Gene editing, ex vivo, you take stem cells out, cut them up/edit them outside the body, and then put them back in. Need chemo to make sure the body doesn’t reject.
