use alcohol, at least 80 proof (more is better). the balance is that the higher proof extracts out MORE, but higher proof also tastes more like ass. 100 proof is a pretty good sweet spot. vodka preferred so the flavor of the herbs comes through. maybe add some other stuff for flavoring. can I use stevia? I think so!
dried or fresh leaves and flower: fill about 2/3 or more of the jar. and then fill jar (not just to cover). roots barks dried or fresh: fill about 1/3 to 1/2. and then fill jar.
let sit for at least 6 weeks.
