use little pieces of shit, little scraps, bits of wax, snippets of plastic, scraps of string or wire, and bury them into the dirt in pots. adds texture. and why not. what else is it good for?
use those big pots to at the minimum start the growth of things and that buys you time to transplant them someplace else. everything there for now is temporary, waiting for the bamboo and mugwort (and lavender in between?)).
